The Mediterraneo<\/strong> cooperative represents one of the historic entities of the Portopalo di Capo Passero<\/strong> seafaring community.<\/strong> It is made up of professional fishermen <\/strong>who operate daily along the southeastern coast of Sicily, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Activities are centered on artisanal fishing <\/strong>and the promotion of local catches<\/strong>, maintaining a strong bond with the territory and its maritime traditions. The cooperative is an ideal partner for fishing tourism experiences<\/strong>, educational excursions, and initiatives aimed at introducing the public to the authenticity of Sicilian coastal communities.<\/p>\r\n

Mediterraneo Societ\u00e0 Cooperativa <\/strong>is an organization deeply rooted in the territory of Portopalo di Capo Passero, the southernmost point of Sicily and one of the capitals of traditional Mediterranean fishing. Founded by a group of professional fishermen, the cooperative was established with the goal of safeguarding the local seafaring culture <\/strong>and continuing to practice sustainable<\/strong> forms of fishing that respect the marine environment and fish resources.<\/p>\r\n
